Il Giardino - Now Open

We know that everyone loves dining Al Fresco and enjoying the day’s catch, a dish of pasta or a chilled Sangria…sharing a meal this way is definitely one of the best parts of Summer.  While our outdoor terrace and bar are a fantastic place to enjoy such an evening, the reality is that this seating is limited and often the first requested and quickest to fill up at Basta. 

After receiving many questions about whether we would be adding onto our existing outdoor dining space, we are so excited to reveal our expanded outdoor dining space, “Il Giardino”. Modeled to resemble the casual curbside trattorias of Italy, complete with decorative lighting, flickering candles, umbrellaed tables and chairs and a casual but upbeat vibe. To add some privacy and atmosphere we have sourced lush plantings, including palms and vines, olive trees and fragrant lemon and orange trees. Our entire menu is available in this space and it is also serviced by our full outdoor bar. 

This extra space will allow us to continue on our return to “normal” while still ensuring our comprehensive social distancing and safety measures are well maintained. “Il Giardino” is also available for cocktail parties and private events. Plus rest assured that on the hottest of Summer nights or during rain we will always be happy to welcome guests into our traditional, cool, indoor dining room, which has also returned to service.
