Since we opened our doors in 1989, many things have changed; we've updated the menus, undergone a renovation, and added more staff to our Basta family. Still, our commitment to fresh, authentic Italian food has always been the same. In fact, we work to improve each and every day to continually dazzle our guests.

Our menu combines traditionally prepared, authentic Italian plates like AVPN-certified Neapolitan pizza, with chef-inspired dishes unique to Basta, like our signature “Pazzo” veal chop.
We take pride in sourcing only the highest quality ingredients from local fishmongers and farms such as Baffoni’s Poultry Farm and Matunuck Micro Greens - giving our internationally influenced dishes fresh New England flavor. In addition to our current menu, we frequently feature specials inspired by the day’s local catch or seasonal offerings.
Our robust wine and cocktail list is expertly curated to compliment the current menu. We offer an extensive selection of rare and coveted wines from around the world. All of our cocktails are handcrafted using fine spirits and house-made syrups and infusions that highlight the unique flavors of the season. The highly trained Basta team are happy to answer any questions and help select the perfect pairing to your meal.
